Ushering at the Covey Center

We are looking for volunteers who possess a friendly nature, like being around people, enjoy service to the public, and want to get more involved with arts and culture in Provo!

Volunteers must:

Keep a neat and tidy appearance
Be available evenings and weekends
Have a reliable method of transportation
Arrive 1 hour prior to the performance
Be able to firmly and politely enforce house rules

Dress: All ushers wear black dress pants - men; skirts or pants - women; and white tops.

Training: No experience necessary! Prior to each performance, ushers will receive training by the House Manager.

Covey Center Rewards Program

You will receive 1 (one) star for every performance you usher, unless otherwise noted. The rewards system is as follows:

4 stars = 1 (one) complimentary ticket to a performance in the Brinton Black Box Theater
8 stars = 1 (one) complimentary ticket to a performance in the Main Performance Hall
12 stars = 1 (one) complimentary ticket to a Mayor's Series Performance.
Special events are excluded.

You choose your own schedule, so you can earn as many stars as your time will allow!
